Upcoming Events & Important Dates:

Summer Reading & Camp READ!

Monday, August 1 is the LAST day of Summer Reading and the last week of Camp READ! Be sure to turn in your reading logs and BINGO sheets by then. BINGO prize drawings will take place on August 1.

August 1, 11a.m. - 12 p.m Camp Read Week 9: Goodbye Camp
In our final week, we will say goodbye to Camp READ by making a time capsule and revisiting our favorite camp memories. Be sure to turn in your final reading logs and bring in your Camp READ buttons!

 

Wednesday, July 27 is the last Summer Reading Curbside Crafts!

Summer Movie Series ends on July 29, with Camp Rock (G) at 11a.m. and Moonrise Kingdom (PG-13) at 2p.m. Children under 13 must have parental permission to watch PG-13 movies.

 

August Events:

 

Game Day is moving to Fridays. Call the library to check days and times before you come.

Join an ongoing game of Dungeons and Dragons every other week, a number of organized games on alternating weeks, or just bring some friends and play one of the board games that the library has available!

 

August 9 & 10 - The library will be closed.

 

August 15, 7 p.m. - Board Meeting

 

August 26, 4p.m. - Book Club

This month we will be discussing Long Way Down (graphic novel) by Jason Reynolds and Maus by Art Spiegelman. Members will also be able to pick up    a copy of our next book.

 

August 31, 3p.m. - Teen Advisory Board Meeting

To join our Teen Advisory Board, just come to a meeting! 8th-12th graders     welcome! Earn volunteer / community service hours and get involved in the    library by helping to plan and host events!

Free GED classes are available at the library!
