"Reading Colors Your World"
Great job to all our readers!
Summer Reading Program Overview
June 5 - July 31
Pre-K through 5th grade
The Summer Reading Program is for kids in Pre-K through 5th grade. With parental permission, kids can sign up for the program, pick up a Summer Reading packet which includes a reading log, information sheet and calendar of events, a bookmark, and a small prize. Additional reading logs can be picked up as needed.
Grades Pre-K to 2nd may count the number of books they read (picture books). 1 book = 1 spot on reading log. When your reading log is full, turn it in for a prize!
Grades 2nd-5th can count minutes of reading (chapter books) 20 minutes = 1 spot on the reading log. For every 25 spots filled in the reading log, students may come in and get free book! Finish the reading log and get a prize!

Art Gallery Craft & Display
Monday, July 19 - August
We will have a special curbside craft on July 19. You can pick up supplies to create a small painting. Use the Summer Reading theme "Reading Colors Your World" (or another theme) to create a tiny work of art.
Bring your finished artwork to the library with your name and phone number on the back to hang in our Summer Reading Art Gallery! We will display the gallery during the Summer and call you to pick your art back up when we take the gallery down.
