October 1-31: 8th Annual IHLS Library Crawl

Pick up a passport from your home library, visit other libraries to get your passport stamped. One entry into our prize drawing for each library visited. Turn in your passport by Oct. 31 to enter the drawing.

October 7, 3-4PM - Lego Club

 

 

Lego Club is for children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Advance registration is required. If your child will be here unattended, please pick them up promptly after Lego Club.

October 8, 4-6PM - Karaoke at the Library

Join us for a fun, casual karaoke afternoon. This is a PG-13 program, so children under 13 need parental permission to attend. This month’s theme is Boy Bands vs. Girl Groups. You do not have to sing on theme.

October 12, 11:00AM - Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil (2011)

Rated PG, Runtime 1 hour, 26 minutes. This movie is in honor of Hayden Panettiere!

Story Time is for toddlers but any children are welcome. We will read 2-3 books & do a simple craft.

October 21, 3-4PM - Afternoon Tea

Enjoy tea, snacks, and conversation! We ask that you please do not bring food and drinks to share at afternoon tea, as each month’s menu has been carefully curated to compliment that month’s tea. Please call and let Suzy know if you're coming so we can be sure to have enough seating for everyone. Beginning in December, registration will be required to attend tea.

 

October 23, 10AM - 5:30PM - Staff Library Crawl Day

Some SAPLD staff will be out and about on the Crawl today. If you’d like to join us, call the library to coordinate routes. Patrons must have their own rides but are welcome to join us at stops and for lunch!
