There is no Flour Power Hour in May. Join us again in June!

Summer Reading Program registration begins May 26. This year our program will run from June 1 through July 25, and the theme is Plant a Seed: READ!. Summer Reading is for ALL AGES. Teen Programs (6th-12) every Monday, Camp READ (PreK-5th) on Wednesdays, family movies every Friday, adult & all ages programs on select Tuesdays and Thursdays, and karaoke every other Thursday! You’ll receive a full calendar of events when you sign up!

Mondays through July 20, 2-4p.m. - Teen Mondays

Wednesdays through July 22, 11a.m. - 12p.m. - Camp READ

Grab a summer reading specific calendar for more details. (PreK-5th grades)

Fridays through July 24, 11a.m. - Summer Movies

Grab a summer reading specific calendar for movie titles, runtimes, and ratings. (All ages).

July 4 - Library closed for Independence Day.

July 7, 4-6p.m. - Adult and Teens Only Interactive Movie

Little Shop of Horrors (1986). Runtime 1 hour, 34 minutes. Rated PG-13. Must be 13 or older to attend (younger kids may sign up if a parent accompanies them to the movie). Registration Required.

Thursdays, July 9 & July 23, 4-6p.m. - Summer Karaoke

Grab a summer reading specific calendar for summer karaoke themes. Karaoke is a PG-13 program as some songs may have suggestive lyrics or 1-2 explicit words, so children under 13 must have parental permission to attend.

July 10, 4:15 p.m. - Adult Book Club

We will be discussing The Last Garden in England by Julia Kelly.

July 15, 3-4p.m. - Afternoon Tea

Enjoy tea, snacks, and conversation! Tea will be the 3rd Wednesday each month. We ask that you please do not bring food and drinks to share at afternoon tea, as each month’s menu has been carefully curated to compliment that month’s tea.

July 16, 4-6p.m. - Cracked Pot Succulent Planters with Christy Howell

Adults only. Make a cute succulent planter out of cracked flower pots. Registration Required.

July 20, 7 p.m. - Board Meeting

July 21, 4-6p.m. - Adult Glow Bingo

Glow-in-the-dark Bingo! Winners of the most rounds get prizes! Registration Required.

July 22, 3-4p.m. - Flour Power Hour

Discuss all things baking and sample yummy baked goods.

July 25 - Summer Reading Program ends.

Turn in your reading logs and reading bingos by 1PM on the 25th!

Free GED/HSE Classes are available at the library!

GED classes are currently on reduced summer hours.

Free ESL tutoring is also available at the library. Classes and tutoring are provided by the Monroe/Randolph Regional Office of Education. Call the library and ask for Kim for more information.
