August America250 Movie Series
¨ August 5 @ 11:00AM - An American Tail - Rated G, 1 hour & 21 minutes
¨ August 11 @ 11:00AM - National Treasure - Rated PG, 2 hours & 10 minutes
¨ August 13 @ 3:00PM - Hamilton (Sing-Along!) - Rated PG-13, 2 hours & 40 minutes
¨ August 27 @ 4:00PM - Top Gun - Rated PG, 1 hour & 50 minutes
*Children under 13 must have parental permission to attend PG-13 movies at the library.*
You do not need to sign up to attend regular movies at the library. Some snacks provided but you may also bring your own snacks and soft drinks in a lidded container.
August 6, 4-6p.m. - Karaoke at the Library
This month’s theme is Divas & Rockstars! Karaoke is a PG-13 program as some songs may have suggestive lyrics or 1-2 explicit words, so children under 13 must have parental permission to attend.
August 7, 4:15 p.m. - Adult Book Club
We will be discussing Mastering the Art of French Murder by Colleen Cambridge.
August 10 - The library will be closed for a staff in-house day.
August 17, 7 p.m. - Board Meeting
August 19, 3-4p.m. - Afternoon Tea
Enjoy tea, snacks, and conversation! Tea will be the 3rd Wednesday each month. We ask that you please do not bring food and drinks to share at afternoon tea, as each month’s menu has been carefully curated to compliment that month’s tea.
August 20, 5-6p.m. - Herb Butter Class with Christy Howell
Make a compound herb butter to take home! Butter, recipes, and herbs will be provided, however you may bring your own herbs as well. Bring a small dish to take your butter home in. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied/helped by an adult. *Registration Required.*
August 26, 3-4p.m. - Flour Power Hour
Discuss all things baking and sample yummy baked goods. Call the library and ask for Suzy for more info and this month’s theme!

Free GED/HSE Classes are available at the library!
Regular class schedule resumes August 3.
Free ESL tutoring is also available at the library. Classes and tutoring are provided by the Monroe/Randolph Regional Office of Education. Call the library and ask for Kim for more information.
