Event, Program, and Meeting Details:

March 2/3 - Blind Date with a Book

Blind Date with a Book “Rate Your Date” cards are due March 2! Prize drawings will be Tuesday, March 3.

 

March 4, 3-4p.m. - Lego Club

 

March 6, 12:00p.m. - Movie: The Luck of the Irish (2001)

Teen Kyle Johnson discovers his family is secretly of Irish  leprechaun descent. After losing a magical gold coin, he begins losing his luck and transforming into a leprechaun. He must retrieve the coin from an evil leprechaun to restore his fortune and embrace his heritage. Rated G, 1 hour & 26 minutes.

 

March 6, 4:15 p.m. - Adult Book Club

We will be discussing our Blind Date books and picking up Final Girls by Riley Sager.

 

March 10, 4-5p.m. - Craft: Spring Sugar Scrub

Make a spring-scented sugar body scrub to get your dried out winter skin ready for spring and summer. Call the library to sign up.

 

March 11, 3-4p.m. - Craft Club

 

March 12, 4-6p.m. - Karaoke

Sing karaoke or lip-sync to your favorite songs. Children under 13 need parental permission as some songs can be suggestive or have adult language.

 

March 16, 7 p.m. - Board Meeting

 

March 18, 11a.m.-12p.m. - Story Hour

 

March 18, 3-4p.m. - Afternoon Tea

Enjoy tea, snacks, and conversation! Tea will be the 3rd Wednesday each month. We ask that you please do not bring food and drinks to share at afternoon tea, as each month’s menu has been carefully curated to compliment that month’s tea.

 

March 24, 4:00p.m. - Movie: Rise of the Guardians (2012)

Generation after generation, immortal Guardians like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy protect the world's children from darkness and despair. However, an evil boogeyman named Pitch Black schemes to overthrow the Guardians by obliterating children's belief in them.  It falls to a winter sprite named Jack Frost to thwart Pitch's plans and save the Guardians from  destruction. Rated PG, 1 hour & 37 minutes.

 

March 25, 3-4p.m. - Flour Power Hour

Share and discuss recipes, baking tips & tricks, and share and sample delicious baked goods!  This month’s theme is Irish baked goods!

  

Free GED/HSE Classes at the library Mondays-Thursdays!
