Event, Program, and Meeting Details:

December 31 & January 1 - Library Closed for New Years Day

 

January 5, 2:00p.m. - Frozen Movie Showing

Warm up inside the library with a movie & popcorn! Frozen (2013), Runtime: 1hour, 48 minutes, Rated PG.

 

January 7, 3-4p.m. - Lego Club

Lego Club is for Kindergarten through 8th grades. Registration is required to join Lego Club. We still have a few spots available! Ask for a sign up sheet at the library.

 

January 9, 11:30a.m.-12 p.m. - Teen Advisory Board

Teen Advisory Board will meet the first Friday each month, on the day when Steeleville schools get out at 11:30. We will have a quick half-hour meeting to discuss program planning and volunteer opportunities. Students in 7th-12th grades are welcome to attend.

 

January 9, 4:15 p.m. - Adult Book Club

We will be discussing Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory.

 

January 14, 3-4p.m. - Craft Club

Craft Club is now for 4th through 8th grades. Registration is required to join Craft Club. We still have spots available! Ask for a sign up sheet at the library.

 

January 15, 4-6p.m. - Broadway Karaoke

Sing karaoke or lip-sync to your favorite Broadway shows. Children under 13 need parental permission as some songs are from PG-13 shows.

 

January 19, 2-4p.m. - Winter Paint-by-Number

Registration is required as supplies are limited. Paint a cozy, book themed work of art to hang on your wall. It’s paint-by-number, so no art skills are necessary. Adults, teens, and children welcome to join in (small children will need parental help).

 

January 19, 7 p.m. - Board Meeting

 

January 21, 11a.m.-12p.m. - Story Hour

 

January 21, 3-4p.m. - Afternoon Tea

Enjoy tea, snacks, and conversation! Tea will be the 3rd Wednesday each month.

 

January 28, 3-4p.m. - Flour Power Hour

Share and discuss recipes, baking tips & tricks, and share and sample delicious baked goods! This month we’re sharing breads!

 

Free GED/HSE Classes at the library Mondays-Thursdays!
