Event, Program, and Meeting Details:

April 24, 3-4 p.m. - Teen Advisory Board

 

April 27, 10a.m.-1p.m.  - Camp Half Blood

Stop by any time during the event to join in some fun demigod activities:

- Embark on a Hero’s Quest Scavenger Hunt

- Taste some “blue food” in the Underworld - if you dare!

- Race a Nereid at Long Island Sound

- Make a Cyclops eye

- Test your luck in a life-sized Lightning Thief board game

- Make a camp friendship bracelet

- Watch your favorite demigod on the big screen!

*No need to register, but beware of the minotaur on your way to camp!*

 

May is Amnesty Month!

Return all those long overdue library books and have your fines waived! All month!

 

May 1, 3-4 p.m. - Lego Club

This is our last Lego Club for the school year.

 

May 3, 4:15 p.m. - Adult Book Club

We will be discussing He Said, She Said by Erin Kelly.

 

May 8, 3-4 p.m. - Craft Club

This is our last Craft Club for the school year.

 

May 10, 11a.m.-12p.m. - Community/Library Accessibility Discussion

We want to hear from you! Join the library for a discussion of accessibility of the library building. This will be the first in a series of discussions to help us to determine how to meet the needs of community members with disabilities and mobility issues, in order to create a more accessible library building for everyone. All community members are welcome to attend. The discussion will be held in the library meeting room. This discussion will be held as part of the Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Libraries Grant. For more information on this grant, please  visit our website.

 

May 15, 11a.m.-12p.m. & 3-4p.m. - Story Hours

Join us at the library at 11 a.m. or 3 p.m. for story hour! Both story hours will have the  same stories and activities. These will be our last regular story times before summer    reading starts in June.

 

May 20, 7 p.m. - Board Meeting

 

May 20 - Summer Reading Registration begins!

This year’s program, “A Universe of Stories” will be June 3 through July 27. Children up through 5th grade can log their reading to win prizes. Teens in 6th-12th grades and adults can participate in reading bingos for a chance to win a prize drawing (separate prizes for teens and adults). Join us at the library for fun weekly activities in June & July! Pick up a full calendar and information packet when you register! Follow the library

Free GED classes & ESL tutoring at the library.

Monday - Thursday. Call and ask for Kim for more information!
