There is still time to sign up for Summer Reading! Track your reading this summer to earn prizes!

 

Game Day—Game day is Friday afternoons. For more info, stop by on Friday to speak to the gamers.

 

Teen Mondays - Join us every Monday June 3 - July 22 at 2:00pm for fun teens only activities. Pick up a summer reading calendar for details on what we’re doing each week. Teen Mondays will vary from 1-2 hours each week. We’re flexible if teens need to leave early or arrive late also! Teen Mondays are for those who have completed 6th grade - 12th graders.

 

Camp READ - Wednesdays from June 5 - July 24 from 11:00am - 12:00pm. PreK through (just completed) 5th grade. Each week we will read space themed books, do a fun activity, and have snacks!

 

Movie Fridays - We will be showing family-friendly space themed movies on Fridays from June 7 - July 26 at 11:00am. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Popcorn will be provided but feel free to bring your own snacks & drinks.

 

July 4 - Library Closed for Independence Day

 

July 11, 4-6 p.m. - Adult Glow BINGO

Registration is required, call the library to sign up! Wear neon so you’ll glow! The person who wins the most rounds will win a prize!

 

July 12, 4:15 p.m. - Adult Book Club

 

July 15, 7 p.m. - Board Meeting

 

July 20, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Galaxy Quest Interactive Movie!

All ages welcome to attend. Registration is recommended as seating and supplies are limited. Children under 8 must be  accompanied by a caregiver.

 

July 22, 2-4 p.m. - Our final Teen Monday will be an interactive

movie showing of E.T. the Extra-terrestrial. Registration is

recommended for just this one Teen Monday as seating and

supplies are limited.

 

July 31, 3-4 p.m. - Teen Advisory Board

Teens in 7th-12th grades are welcome to attend.

Free GED classes & ESL tutoring at the library.

Summer hours vary. Call and ask for Kim.

If you or your child participates in a Steeleville Area Public Library District event, the Steeleville Area Public Library District may photograph or video record the events or activities in which you or your child is participating for the purpose of promoting the library and its services and programs. If you do not wish for the Steeleville Area Public Library District to use photographs or videos of you or your child, please let us know in advance of the program.
